I recently spent a charming New Year's Eve at Lool Beh Hostal, and I couldn't have asked for a more inviting spot in San Miguel. Dani and Patric, the hosts, made us feel at home with their warm hospitality; we embraced some Mexican traditions together and headed into town for the magical fireworks display. Nestled in a peaceful area, the hostal is just a picturesque 15-minute walk to the centre, with great breakfast spots like Café de La Mancha nearby - definitely a must-try! My private room was a good retreat, beautifully decorated and featuring a comfy bed that made it hard to leave each morning. the lovely garden with a hammock offered a perfect space to unwind. Lool Beh is a cultural gem that combines comfort, local charm, and easy access to the artistic heart of San Miguel, making it ideal for anyone who appreciates both relaxation and the vibrant pulse of local life.
